Friendly, helpful staff. Tasty, freshly cooked haddock and chips with homemade tartare sauce. Excellent.
Always great fish & chips at The Great British Takeaway. We went last evening & although it busy it was still good .We have been a couple of times & the waiter remembered us which is a nice touch. Extremely clean, good service & fish & chips lovely crisp & dry.. We have the OAP portion which is plenty.
Came here for a meal with family and it's the best fish and chips I've had in a long time, staff were polite and efficient and the restaurant was clean and tidy. Great value for money and good portion sizes, will definitely be coming back!!
Absolutely loved it! The food and service is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant side is clean and inviting. The fish was freshly cooked with no skin or bones which was huge bonus for me. The takeaway looked efficient but we have not tried the takeaway yet, only the restaurant - twice in one week, as it was so good!
If you like Fish and Chips then you will have a great time going here. The portions are huge...don't order large chips unless there are 2 of you. The cod potions are a good size as well and the batter is excellent. Great value for money.
