Mediocre Christmas Dinner. The hotel is nice and they are close to completing a spa. So it's evolving. The rooms are very good. My most important thing in every hotel is the staff. If as here they look stressed and harassed it is felt throughout your stay. We have used this place for a long time however will leave it a good while prior to returning.
Excellent food and service. We had a family get together for 13of us, we were given our own room which was perfect as we had 5 young children! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Fantastic hotel... lovely location... Great rooms... Great service.. the food is a bit pricey and they could do with a bit more variety at dinner.. however the food is brilliant and the staff are very professional and friendly.
The Hartnoll is a fabulous little hotel, close to the A361 which gives access throughout Mid Devon.Their personal service is excellent and the staff are always ready to help.They always have a great menu which you can see online.Highly recommended
Lovely hotel staff friendly and courteous. We had afternoon tea here. I was disappointed in the tea as I've had much better and gift cheaper. Maybe an off day? There lunches are lovely, fresh and plentiful. Having it in the conservatory is an added bonus
